Hubbell Products Available from Breakers Now

The Breakers Now Hubbell inventory includes:

  • Twist-Lock plugs, connectors and receptacles
  • IEC pin-and-sleeve plugs, connectors and receptacles
  • Kellems cord connectors and wire grips
  • Industrial toggle switches and manual motor disconnects
  • Weatherproof covers, boots and wiring-device accessories
  • Specialty Hubbellock and isolated-ground devices

Availability changes as products sell and new inventory arrives. Visit the Hubbell collection to see current stock.

Hubbell Twist-Lock Plugs, Connectors and Receptacles

Hubbell Twist-Lock devices use curved blades and a locking action to help resist accidental disconnection. They are common on generators, temporary-power systems, industrial equipment, data centers and commercial facilities.

Breakers Now stocks multiple Hubbell 30-amp female connectors, including product families such as:

Shop the Twist Lock collection.

These part numbers are not interchangeable. Before ordering, verify:

  • Amperage and voltage
  • Number of poles and wires
  • Grounding or non-grounding construction
  • NEMA configuration
  • Male plug, female connector or receptacle
  • Cord diameter and conductor range

Matching the amperage alone is not enough. For example, two 30-amp Twist-Lock devices can have different voltage and blade configurations and are intentionally designed not to mate.

Midget Twist-Lock and Specialty Locking Devices

The stocked assortment also includes compact Midget Twist-Lock products such as HBL7465V, HBL7485V and HBL7593V. These are used where a smaller locking connection is required.

Breakers Now also carries specialty products such as:

  • Isolated-ground Twist-Lock receptacles, including IG2620 and IG2810
  • 50-amp locking connectors and accessories
  • Hubbellock non-NEMA locking receptacles such as HBL20403
  • Weatherproof covers sized for locking-device openings

Do not substitute a standard NEMA locking device for a Midget Twist-Lock, Hubbellock or isolated-ground device without confirming the complete equipment design.

Hubbell IEC Pin-and-Sleeve Devices

Hubbell IEC pin-and-sleeve equipment provides keyed, color-coded connections for industrial power. Breakers Now stocks products across several ratings and configurations, including:

  • HBL420P7W 20A IEC plug
  • HBL430P7W 30A watertight IEC plug
  • HBL430C7W 30A watertight IEC connector
  • HBL560P7W 60A, 277/480V plug
  • HBL560P9W 60A, 120/208V plug
  • HBL560C9W 60A, 120/208V connector
  • HBL560R9W 60A, 120/208V receptacle
  • Back boxes, hubs and liquidtight adapters for compatible assemblies

Shop the IEC Pin and Sleeve collection.

To choose the correct IEC device, verify:

  • Current rating
  • Voltage and frequency
  • Number of poles and wires
  • Ground-contact clock position
  • Plug, connector, inlet or receptacle
  • Cord or conduit entry
  • Watertight and environmental requirements

The 60-amp HBL560P7W and HBL560P9W are a good example of why the complete number matters: they belong to the same general family but are keyed for different voltage systems.

Kellems Cord Connectors

Hubbell Kellems cord connectors secure portable cord where it enters an enclosure or piece of equipment. Breakers Now stocks aluminum and nylon straight male cord connectors across several cable ranges, including:

  • SHC1021 and SHC1015 for smaller cord diameters
  • SHC1022CR and SHC1023CR nylon connectors
  • SHC1023 aluminum connectors
  • SHC1034 3/4-inch aluminum connectors

Three dimensions must be confirmed:

  1. Conduit or hub size
  2. Cable outside-diameter range
  3. Conductor and application requirements

The nominal hub size does not identify the cable range. A 1/2-inch connector may be offered in several sealing ranges.

Kellems Wire and Cable Grips

Kellems grips use woven wire mesh to distribute pulling force or support cable weight. The stocked Hubbell assortment includes galvanized I-Grips such as 07310002, 07310003, 07310005 and 07310006.

Select a grip by:

  • Actual cable outside diameter
  • Pulling, strain-relief or support application
  • Required eye, attachment or mounting style
  • Mesh material
  • Environmental exposure
  • Required working load and safety factor

Do not select a grip by conduit trade size. The cable diameter must fall within the grip’s published range.

Industrial Switches and Disconnects

Breakers Now stocks Hubbell industrial switching products including:

  • HBL1221 20A, 120/277V industrial toggle switch
  • HBL1221L locking toggle switch
  • HBL1209 replacement key for compatible locking switches
  • HBL7810 30A, 600V three-pole manual motor-controller disconnect
  • HBLAC1 unfused disconnect-switch accessory

A wall switch ampere rating does not automatically establish a motor horsepower rating. When selecting a motor controller or disconnect, verify the utilization, poles, voltage, horsepower rating, enclosure and lockout requirements.

Weatherproof Covers and Boots

Weatherproof accessories help protect compatible wiring devices in exposed locations. Stocked products include cast-aluminum and polycarbonate covers, 50-amp locking-device covers, and HBL6031/HBL6032 weatherproof boots.

Confirm:

  • Device opening and mounting pattern
  • One-gang or other box configuration
  • Material and corrosion requirements
  • Whether protection is needed while the device is connected, disconnected or both
  • Compatibility with the plug, connector or receptacle body

A cover that physically fits is not necessarily listed with every wiring device.
